Course Introduction

This course covers the sections of Topic 5: Separate Chemistry 1 called Dynamic Equilibrium.  This is examined on Paper 1 of the GCSE Edexcel Chemistry Course.

The following information, included in this course, is examined at Higher Tier only:

• Le Chatalier's Principle
• How, in industrial reactions, including the Haber process, conditions used are related to:
  • The availability and cost of raw materials and energy supplies
  • The control of temperature, pressure and catalyst used produce an acceptable yield in an acceptable time
