The characters of Greek Mythology can be divided into two main groups
1. The Immortals
  1. are the divine and semi-divine beings
2. the Humans
  1. those who are normal and common beings without any power

1. Are the major gods and goddesses in Greek Mythology
  1. ZEUS
    1. He is the god of heaven, he rules the Olympus and his symbol is lightning
  2. HERA
    1. she is the wife of zeus, she is too brave and she is very jealous she has very strong powers
  3. POSEIDON
    1. he is the god of the seas, he is very powerful and it is said that all his anger is unleashed in the sea
  4. HADES
    1. rules hell and is the brother of zeus and poseidon

1. HEROI HEMITHEOI
  1. they are semi-divine heroes who were worshiped after their death
2. MONSTERS
  1. they are semi-divine creatures that look like gods
    1. Dragons, giants, centaurs, mermaids
3. CONSTELATIONS
  1. it surrounds the sky at night, its meaning is the 12 signs of the zodiac
    1. are possessed by one or more spirits
4. OLYMPIAN GODS
  1. these ruled Olympus and commanded the spirits
    1. Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Demeter, Artemis, Apollon
5. THEOI
  1. who controlled the forces of nature
    1. and bestowed civilised arts upon mankind.
6. DAIMONES
  1. these were spirits that affected the human
    1. Love, dream, joy, hate, fear, death, old age
7. NYMPHAI
  1. they are spirits which nourished the life of the 4 elements
    1. Forests, fresh water and animals
8. PROTOGENOI
  1. These were the primeval beings.
    1. They create the universe
      1. Earth, Sea, Sky, Night, Day
The titans
1. they ruled the world, having dethroned their father Uranus, the first ruler of the universe.
  1. CRONOS
    1. the King of the Titans and the god of destructive time, the time that devours everything.
  2. COEUS
    1. was the god of the intellect and controls some constellations
  3. CRIUS
    1. He controlled some constellations and controlled the stations on earth he was also leader of the giants
  4. IAPETUS
    1. the god titan of mortality and the allocation of mortal life
The heroes
1. HERCULES
  1. He is the son of Zeus, he is too strong but he has neither intelligence nor self-determination.
2. PERSEUS
  1. he was locked up and thrown into the sea, as he grew up he tried to kill his grandfather but the one who died was the
3. THESEUS
  1. good leader, good citizen and good friend, doubting his wife he gets into trouble and it disappears
4. JASON
