- With the conjunctions "not as ... as" or "less ... than". The adjective is in the positive degree

- Beth is not as tall as me
- Comparative form followed by "than"

- New York is bigger than Los Angeles
- Superlative
- We use the with superlative adjectives
- If the adjective is possessive, "the" is not used. Also, "the" is not used if we compare something with
itself

- It is very common to compare things using adjectives, for this in English we use comparative and
superlative adjectives
