property must accurately describe the property

- (d) The price or other terms of the property must not be
different from those instructed by the client
- (e) The advertisement and its placement shall not
directly or indirectly infringe any law or legal rights
- (f) The advertisement must be removed once the
property is no longer available or after the estate
agency agreement is terminated

EXEMPTION LIST
- Any single signboard or series of related signboards
displayed outdoors at a business premises with a
total area of not more than 5sqm;
- Signboard displayed by any --> Religious body,
Government-aided school, Hospital, clinic, dispensary,
nursing or welfare home or hospice, run by any
charity;
- Any advertisement or signboard displayed:--> On
any stall within a hawker centre, food centre or
market; or In any underpass, tunnel or mass rapid
transit station
- The exhibition of any poster, banner or advertising in respect of any
parliamentary election or presidential election in accordance with the
Parliamentary Elections Act (Cap. 218) or the Presidential Elections
Act (Cap. 240A)
- TYPES OF LICENCE
- (a) licence that is issued for a period of
display for 1year may be renewed
automatically if the renewal licence fee
payment is made through GIRO, subject to the
latest licensing requirements at point of
renewal
- (B) a licence that is issued for a period of display
for 1 year or less may be renewed upon an
application made and payment of appropriate
licence fee within the period stipulated in the
notice of payment issued by the Commissioner
and renewal is subject to the latest licensing
requirements at point of renewal
