Velocity and Acceleration: iGCSE
  1. Acceleration = Final Velocity- Initial Velocity all over the time taken
    1. a = (v-u)/t
    2. Velocity is a vector, and changes when an object changes direction at speed
      1. As velocity changes, it can be described as acceleration (+gradient) or deceleration (-gradient)
      2. The area under a Velocity-Time graph is the distance travelled
        1. A seady velocity is sown by a straight line, and a steady acceleration is shown by a positive gradient
        2. For all objects around the Earth's surface, there is a constant acceleration of approx. 10m/s^2- for example, a fruit falling from a tree will have a velocity of 20m/s after 2 seconds of falling
