- NASAL CAVITY
- The nasal cavity is a large, air-filled space above
and behind the nose in the middle of the face.
- NOSTRIL
- Lipids perform various functions in living orgasnims, including
energy reserve (such as triglycerides), structural (such as bilayer
phospholipids) and reguloroty (such as steroid hormones).
- TONGUE
- The tongue is a sensory organ. Therefore, it
seems that the function of it is very clear: to
taste the different foods.
- TEETH
- The teeth are the hardest substances in the
human body. Besides being essential
forduewing, the teeth play an important role
in speech.
- ORAL CAVITY
- The human oral cavity refers to the mouth and all its parts,
including the lips, tongue, teeth, and the ceiling and floor of
the mouth.
- JAW
- The mandible
(formely also called
the lower jaw) is
an odd, flat, central
and symmetrical.
- LUNG
- The lungs are the organs
responsible for gas
exchange.
- LARYNX
- The larynx is also called the voice box because it contains
the vocal cords inside.
- TRACHEA
- Nomally the trachea is described as a tube, whose only function is the
conduction of air but as we will see later, the trachea also has other
functions.
