1. dulce et decorum est

    1. "bent double like aold beggars under sacks"
      1. shows that the men where fighting for days no rest
    2. "gas gas quick boys an ecstasy of fumbling
      1. gas attacks where happing all the time men just droping from it
    3. obscene as cancer bitter as the cud of vile incurable sore on innocent tongues
      1. if they got gass and they didnt have there gass masks on the would have had a veery painful death wose then cancer

      1. the majors would be very happy not living in slums and not having to acttullay fight the wars

    3. reading the roll of honour poor young chap id say used to know hid father well
      1. the major is saying this but he really doesnt care he will get to go home at the end of the day and all the youn men would be dead and there family would be very upset
    4. id toddle safely home and die in bed
      1. the major will be prased for the work that he has done even thought he didnt fight the war he sent young men that dies for there country they dont to go home they lost there lifes

      1. shows that the room was peaceful and soothing
        that what had happenend was really upsetting and sad
