Anmerkungen:

• The T1 interface does not show in the "show ip interface brief" command output since the router does not know whether you will be configuring this (VWIC) interface as DATA or VOICE (T1).
1. CAS >>>> ds0-group command
1. # conf t #controller t1 1/0 #framing <esf /sf # linecode <ami/b8zs> # clock source <free-running/internal/line # ds0-group 1 timeslots 1-24 type <fxo-loop-start>

Anmerkungen:

• Type could be of following types e&m-delay-dial e&m-fgd (Type II) e&m -immediate start e&m-lmr (landline, mobile. radio) e&m-wink-start ext-sig (external signaling) fxo-ground-start fxo-loop-start fxs-ground-start fxs-loop-start none
• Ds0-group can be 0-23

1. Clock source Internal used for connecting to PBX (Tie Line)

Anmerkungen:

• Clock source line used for connecting to Service Provider
2. DS0-Group command allows to set signaling type
1. Ability to connect different N/W types

Anmerkungen:

• It means some channels let's say 1-6 by creating ds0 group 5 with channels 1-5 can be connected to PBX [E&M over T1 CAS (dso command means CAS)], while ds0 group 6 with channels 7-24 to PSTN (FXO loop start over T1 CAS)
3. CCS >>> pri-group command
1. # conf t # isdn switch-type primary-5ess # controller t1 1/0 # pri-group timeslots 1-24 <nfas_d / service>

Anmerkungen:

• nfas_d - signaling channel (d channel) service = bearer channel
1. show voice port summary
2. With T1 channel 23 (TIME SLOT 24) is always the signaling channel, while with E1 channel 16 (TIMESLOT 17)
