Planning ideas for 6th form magazine

The target audience of readers is male and females aged 16-18 as this is the age of students in 6th form, their interests are doing well with their education but also maintaining a good social life
The name of the magazine will be 'FalliBoom' as my school is called Fallibroome and therefore this is a pun, also the word 'Boom' suggests that the magazine is delivering the latest news with a bang
The key image will be a MCU of a girl in a blazer to show she is a student who wears smart clothes, there will also be a light shining on her face to show how her singing career has put her literally in the spotlight
The 2 secondary cover lines I plan on using will be about Leeds Festival 2014 and the school's Winter Ball, this has the best of both worlds as it addresses school life but also something for the students to look forward to in the Summer
The tone of the magazine will be formal as it is about school life but there will be some informal parts which are about the social life outside of school
The USP is that it is specifically about my school so students won't want to read any other 6th form magazine
The price will be free as students are often on a budget and the frequency will be once a month
