Surah Al Insan is also called as Surah Ad Dahr

Dahr refers to span of time i.e., beginning of existence to the Day of Judgement

Dahr also means to overcome or overpower

There was a time when man was nothing

Even his mother was not aware of having conceived him

Then he was developed and shaped and today he lives like a grown up man

It's root word is م، ش، ج

It means to mix one thing with another

It's the plural of ma'shij

It's root word is ء، م، ش

For a man, this world is a place of ‘test and trial’

To pass this test he is been given the faculties of hearing and seeing

The ability of hearing or seeing is not limited to being able to hear and see rather it means to be able to process the information that he gathers in making a wise choice

The right path was shown and made clear for man to follow

This was done to make sure whether he will be grateful or ungrateful

Whichever path he follows such will be his end

For al-Abrar, there will be a special drink from the spring of Kafoor

The al-Abrar will have control over the spring

The spring will be accessible to them without any restriction

They will drink from it however and whenever they wish

They are devoted to worshiping Allah (swt) using that which He made obligatory upon them

They also worship Him by fulfilling their vows

They abandon those forbidden things which Allah (swt) has prohibited for them, due to their fear of having an evil reckoning on the Day of Judgement

They give food for the poor, orphan & prisoners of war while they themselves love it and desire it

It's a camphor of duniya

It's a spring in Jannah

It's a special drink in Jannah which has very intense aroma, very delicious & very cold

To seek thanks from miskin

To please Allah (swt)

To seek rewards & praise from miskin

They hope that Allah (swt) will be merciful and kind towards them on that horrible Day when everyone will be distressed, frowned & horrified

Due to the obedience of Allah (swt), their faces will be radiating in delight. This is because if the heart is happy, then the face will be enlightened

Allah (swt) will accommodate them in Paradise and they will wear silken garments

They will be seated on the couches beneath curtained canopies. They will neither be disturbed by the heat of sun nor experience bitter cold. Rather there will be a moderate pleasant climate

The trees in Paradise will spread their shade upon them. The fruits of the trees will be hanging low such that whenever they attempt to eat any fruit, it will come nearer to them

Servants will go around them with containers of food made of silver and cups of drink. These vessels of drink will although be made of silver but in transparency they resemble a crystal. And when the drinks are served to them they will neither be more nor less than the required quantity

They will be given to drink a cup of wine mixed with Zanjabeel (a ginger flavor) from a fountain called Salsabeel

Young boys will go around serving the people of Paradise. They will have ever-lasting youth. When you see them dispersing to fulfill the needs, you would think that they were scattered pearls

The delight of Jannah & its beauty, its vastness, its loftiness & the joy & happiness it contains cannot be imagined

The great dominion or the kingdom that belongs to Allah (swt) is a splendid dominion

Jannah is the final abode of the disbelievers

The people of Paradise will wear sundus, a fine green silk & istabraq, a rich brocade

They will be adorned with bracelets of silver

Allah (swt) will give them a pure drink which has no any side effects

The people of Paradise have to self dress up to make themselves look smarter

The believers are being appreciated

Because of their efforts, struggle & hard work to please Allah (swt)

Also because they carried out their duties according to the Allah's will

Allah (swt) made it easy for Prophet (pbuh) to understand & comprehend the Qur'an

Revelation came when the need for guidance arose enabling Prophet (pbuh) to convey the same

The Qur'an was revealed in stages so that we all could understand, internalize, and implement on it

Prophet (pbuh) was undergoing lots of hardships in accomplishing his mission to convey. Allah (swt) is comforting him to be firm and steadfast in whatever comes in his way

Allah (swt) is saying him not to obey the disbelievers and the hypocrites if they wish to discourage him from what has been revealed to him

Rather convey that which has been revealed to you from Allah (swt)

By remembering Allah (swt) in morning and evening askar

By glorifying Allah (swt) at specific times in salah such as the Fajr to the Asr salah

There is a command to prostrate in the night, would apply to both the Maghrib and the Isha salah

Then the command to glorify Allah in the long hours of night, clearly points to the time of the Tahajjud salah

Because of their love of the world

Because of their heedlessness of the Hereafter

Because of their worship of Allah (swt)

It is Allah (swt) who has created us

It is Allah (swt) who has made our joints strong

It is Allah (swt) who has strengthened our make

It is Allah (swt) who has the power to replace us with other creation

The Qur’an is a reminder

Whoever agrees to it should take a straight path

But a man cannot will for something and have it, unless Allah (swt) wills the same for him

Allah (swt) will admit to His mercy whomever He wills and lead astray whomever He wishes

Allah (swt) has prepared a very painful punishment for the disbelievers who did zulm on themselves by not follow the Qur’an and Sunnah

Allah (swt) will make the believers to enter Jannah which is a rehma of Allah (swt)

د، خ، ل ---------- يُّدْخِلُ
