    How scientists are rushing to create a coronavirus vaccine 1.Competition between clinical laboratories to create a coronavirus vaccine According to Why-oh, there are more than 60 teams of scientists working on a coronavirus vaccine. 2. What is the coronavirus vaccine? It consists of simulating an infection in order to avoid the most serious possible symptoms of the coronavirus so our immune system can destroy the virus. In different circumstances, the development of this vaccine would take 10 years, but thanks to the efforts of previous investigations, the process may accelerate. In some cases human trials are already being tested, but scientists agree that it will take a few months for the cure to be approved.
