Setting Ideas
Another convention for a thriller is having an effective setting, as it visually sets a tone for the audience.
First Example:
A school/college.
The already known antagonist for our production will be an older teenager, so by placing the narrative in a school it will add verisimilitude to the narrative.
Second Example:
A prison.
Due to the narrative being an escaped prisoner, this would be the most effective location. However, we cannot do this- but we can make another location look similar too.
Third Example:
Youth Hostel/Run down hotel
This would be effective at supporting the theme of escaping prison and how the antagonist is in hiding.
Forth Example:
Antagonists Bedroom
This is again a way to portray the theme of escaping and trying to be hidden- but relates more to the age of the antagonist.
