1. Fire

- In 4 of our shots, we are using fire as a method to build tension.

The sequences will be shot in a garden, with the camera panning around to show the visuals we wanted ( a newspaper burning etc... )

This will be filmed in a excluded area, creating more an eerier tension that if open planned

Potencial Risks

- Burning of protagonist, creating wounds

- Object other than prop setting on fire

- Fire becoming out of hand

How We Will Avoid Dangers

- Have an adult start and observe the fire

- Have a fire blanket near by

- Do not leave fire unattended

- Do not leave anything near fire in chance of setting on fire

2. Glass

- In 1-2 sequences, we wanted to add glass smashed on the floor as a way to demonstrate destruction - therefore, building tension

The sequences will be shot in one of the group's kitchen. This will allow the camera to pan around and have close ups ( a method from Alfred Hitchcock )

Potencial Risks

- Filmer and actors cutting self on glass

How We Will Avoid Dangers

- Clean up effectively
- Be cautious around the glass

- Have first aid kits around

- Let other people ( family ) know about the glass

3. Makeup

- In order to create verisimilitude, we wanted to have the use of makeup. This consists of cosmetic makeup and wounds ( e.g. fake blood )

Potencial Risks

- Allergic Reactions

How We Will Avoid Dangers

- Make sure actor knows we will use makeup

- Ask actor if they have any known allergic reactions to cosmetic products

- Have wash kits near by
