En la actualidad el marketing es una herramienta que todo empresario debe conocer. Sin duda, todas las compañías de una u otra forma utilizan técnicas de marketing, incluso, sin saberlo. Marketing no es otra cosa que la realización de intercambios entre un mínimo de 2 partes de forma que se produzca un beneficio mutuo.
Todos hemos oído hablar en alguna ocasión de Marketing. Sin embargo si pedimos que nos den una definición, algunos dirían que es vender y otros publicidad. Tendríamos a aquéllas personas que opinan que el marketing es la distribución de productos, otros opinarían que es diseñar envases o embalajes etc..
Y también podríamos afirmar que todos tienen razón
La mayoría de las empresas poseen una visión orientada a la venta. Es decir, fabrican el producto que desean y después deben Forzar la compra.
A este enfoque se le denomina Empresa Orientada al Producto o a la Producción (EOP).
Esta orientación practica unas políticas más agresivas hacia los consumidores "obligándoles" en cierto modo, a comprar productos o servicios que no han solicitado.
Los nuevos enfoques se encaminan hacia las Empresas Orientadas al Cliente o Consumidor (EOC). Esta visión se basa en :
· Encuentra deseos y no pares hasta satisfacerlos
· Haz lo que se venderá en lugar de tratar de vender lo que haces
· Ama al cliente y no al producto
· El cliente es el dueño
