Value determination focuses upon developing a Value Map for the project that mandatorily requires as input the results from the As-Is Analysis, the Business Case and the Collaborative Value Assessment

During Value determination a Value Map is drafted for the project that associates business pain points, key process changes, and performance indicators to measure success and to recap and include the results of Business Case and/or Collaborative Value Assessment

Value determination finalizes the Value Map for the project associating business pain points, key process changes, and performance indicators to measure success; all being the starting point to develop the Business Case during the Business Blueprint Phase.

In the ASAP Methodology Value determination is the term used instead of Business Case as most companies normally have no completed picture of their goals and targets with SAP implementation projects prior to starting the project and the project team needs to work on this topic and develops the final economic and organizational motivation.

Assure that Value Audits are conducted for all areas of the Business Solution Design where KPI&PPI baseline and targets are decided

Drive and follow up the implementation of defined Value Enablers

Assure that the Value Audits are part of the Business Scenario for Governance Risk & Compliance

Cross-check the communication of the defined Value Enablers within the deliverables 'Role Mapping', 'Sounding Boards' and 'Communication Activities' of the Organisational Change Management Work Stream
