We are looking for proactive and results driven Telesales Representatives to contribute in generating potential leads and ultimately sales for GoConqr. You will be responsible for sourcing new leads, making the initial contact to introduce our company and product, and using your strong interpersonal skills and product knowledge to spark their interest in continuing the conversation. Ultimately the goal is to close sales. This is a small team with big ambitions and your contribution will be essential to our success!
- 2 years relevant experience in a phone based sales position
- Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas preferably over the phone
- Thrive in a demanding, target driven role with the confidence to cold call
- Enjoy selling a cloud based EdTech platform with the ability to learn about products and explain them to prospects in an engaging way
- Curious nature so that you can explore and understand all aspects of the GoConqr product, and research the potential lead to match it to their business need
- Good listening skills combined with a persuasive style so that you can explain how the product will help the client
- Organised style, keeping clear & accurate notes of your contact with each lead and the stage they are at in the sales cycle
- Experience using salesforce will be useful but training will be provided
- Fluent verbal and written English; you should have a positive style with the ability to think of your feet
- Legally authorised to work in the EU
Generate and add to existing lists of potential leads in English speaking countries. Establish the correct person to speak to and their contact details and keep accurate records in Excel and Salesforce as required
- Contact potential customers by phone to inform them about the product
- Use your understanding of the GoConqr platform to answer questions and to explain all of its potential uses to the client
- Ask questions to understand customer requirements and close sales
- Direct prospects to other members of the team as needed
- Communicate progress and blocks openly with the team with a focus on getting results; take on board feedback and adjust approach accordingly
- Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales, taking ownership for your contribution in the sales cycle
- Initially you will be scheduling demonstrations for other team members to deliver, but as you become comfortable, you may also have the opportunity to run demos yourself and to progress the client throughout the sales cycle
