What is a Function?

A one-to-one, or many-to-one mapping, from a given domain and range.
The domain is the number of possible values of X a function can take.
The range is the number of possible values of Y, or F(x), a function can take.
Example:
- f(x) = 2x + 5, x > 2
- Its range will then be:
  - f(2) = 4+5 = 9.
  - So, f(x) > 9.
