A metric prefix indicates how many times a unit should be multiplied or divided by ten

Metric prefixes- Kilo, Hecto, Deca, Centa, Milla

1 m = 1000 mm

1 m = 100 cm

1000 m = 1 km

1 cm = 10 mm

1000 g = 1 kg

1000 mL = 1L

1 g = 1000 mg
