If you’re wondering how to log into your BellSouth (AT&T) email account and gain access to your emails without any hassles, this step-by-step guide will provide you with everything you need to know.

Whether you’re logging in for the first time in a while, recovering a forgotten password, or resolving login issues, this guide has you covered.

Understanding BellSouth (AT&T) Email and Its Transition

BellSouth Email has been part of the communication services offered by AT&T for years. However, AT&T email accounts are now often accessed through the Yahoo! Mail platform due to their partnership. Users with email domains such as:

@att.net
@BellSouth.net
@bellsouth.net
@pacbell.net

can still access their old accounts but must do so through the Yahoo Mail login portal. This transition sometimes creates confusion for users trying to access their accounts.

If you have an old BellSouth (AT&T) email account, the good news is you can still use it and retrieve your emails. All you need is your account credentials and access to the correct login portal.

Step-by-Step Guide to Log into Your BellSouth (AT&T) Email Account

Follow these simple steps to access your BellSouth (AT&T) email account:

1. Navigate to the Correct Login Page

To access your BellSouth (AT&T) email, go to the official AT&T or Yahoo email login page:

2. Enter Your Email Address

On the login page, locate the Sign In section.
Enter your full AT&T email address, including the domain (e.g., example@att.net or example@BellSouth.net).
Double-check for typos to ensure you’re entering the correct information.

3. Input Your Password

After entering your email address, type in your account password.
Ensure that the Caps Lock key is turned off, as passwords are case-sensitive.
If you’ve forgotten your password, click on the “Forgot Password?” link below the password field.

4. Verify Your Identity (If Required)

If AT&T or Yahoo detects unusual activity or a first-time login from a new device, you may be prompted to verify your identity:

You might receive a verification code via your recovery email address or phone number.
Enter the code into the required field and proceed.

5. Access Your BellSouth Email Account

Once you successfully enter your login credentials and verify your identity (if necessary), you’ll be directed to your email inbox. From here, you can:

Send and receive emails.
Manage folders and organize messages.
Access old emails and attachments.
