Scientists have done lots of experiments to prove that motility is essential for Campylobacter to cause ( disease, drowsiness, headaches ). Chemotaxis is the movement of cells in response to ( chemical, physical ) signals. These signals can attract cells (chemoattractants) or repel them (chemorepellents).
