African kings became ( greedy, seedy, angry, fat ) and, instead of ( annoying, revenging, protecting, encouraging ) their people, they sold them into ( slavery, savoury, banking, bravery ). Both major and minor crimes were punishable by ( maths with Mr Gavin, imprisonment, death, enslavement ). To escape the slave trade, many people moved to new regions and had to establish new communities. To source even more people to sell, one tribe would provoke ( thumb wars, wars, footsies, epic rap battles ) with another; any ( captives, rappers, caps, captureres ) taken were sold into slavery. These constant wars disrupted traditional life and ( source, resource, money, people ) shortages resulted.
Traditional local industry such as the metalwork of the Benin, were also disrupted. New industries developed to support the slave trade; and increased contact with outsiders encouraged the import of ( freign, foreing, foriegn, foreign ) goods. These replaced local goods and thus upset many African economies. Also, ( deseases, diseases, uneases, disaeses ) -both African and European- spread across the continents.
