Continuing on the discussion of type on a screen format, we should discuss the differences in screen versus paper and what content changes we need to make. When reading from a screen, it is always emitting light, always changing and refreshing, never remaining static. This can tire your eyes and cause serious strain. Paper on the other hand, does not emit light, it just reflects it. One of the main things you can do to help readability is to maintain a high enough contrast between your foreground and background, a perfect example of this is having black text on a white background. Also make sure that your content is broken up into chunks to help keep readers interested, good examples of these "chunks" are bullets, short paragraphs, etc. just to make sure the reader doesn't lose interest, they can take semi-breaks.
