Information of Herodotus 

Herodotus was born in Halicarnus a Greek city in south west Asia and he lived from the fifth century onward. Herodotus was mostly famous for writing the histories, Herodotus lived from 484 AD to 425 AD.

What Herodotus wrote about 

Herodotus wrote many books about the history's below are some of the books he wrote about : The first six books he wrote about deals with the growth of the Persian empire. The second book is largely concerned with Egypt. The next four books consist of the expansion of the Persian empire under Darius. The sixth book details the first Persian attack of Greece and the defeat of the Persians at war.

Facts about Herodotus

Herodotus's family was forced to leave the city, and they moved to the island of Samos. his travels took him to the black sea, Palestine ,Egypt and Syria he often visited these places more than once. no one knows the year of he's death but they think it was after he stopped writing the histories.
