¿structural needs?	substances to build and repair biological structures proteins are the most important structural nutrients, although some lipids and mineral alts also have this role
¿funtional and regulatory needs?	substances needed for the right performance of the body. they are needed in smaller amounts, but they are essential for our body to function vitamins and minerals are the most important regulatory nutrients
