        1. Birth rate

          Nota:

          • Number of births in 1 year/ total population multiply by 1000. Total fertility rate: the average number children woman has in her life. Women in poorer countries have more children on average.
          1. Deaths

            Nota:

            • Mortaly rate: Number of deaths in 1 year/total population multiply by 1000. The mortaly rate has fallen a lot. There are big differences in the mortaly rates between richer and poorer countries.

              1. Population structure.

                Nota:

                • Poorer countries: More young people, the population is growing quickly. Richer countries: There is difference in size between the age groups, the population is quite stable.

                  Nota:

                  • Moving from one place to another, this has many beneficts and difficulties. Emigration: Moving out of a country. Immigration: Moving into a country: Refugees : people forced to leave their country to escape war, persecution or an natural disaster, they are installed in an Asylum.

                    Nota:

                    • China exports products all over the world, so young people move to the cities to find work. Life is nos easy for migrants: - They work long hours. - They have few rights. - They do dangerous jobs. - They live in urban villages.
                    1. Migration TO and FROM Spain

                      Nota:

                      • * Emigration: people emigrate to northern European countries. *Immigration: - Young people: from Latin America, northern Africa and Eastern Europe coming to find work. - Retired people from Europe: They come to relax.
