AT THE TIME OLYMPIA WAS A ESPECIAL PLASE OF PEASE THAT WAS USE ONLY FOR OLIMPIC EVENTS A RELIGIUS OR PILITICAL MEETINGS
several of these activitia are still recognissable today ar parts of the modern day decatlon or as individual events
these races took ´plase in front of uge crows of as many as 40000 people
both of these events focused purely on being the fastest person in the race
it was another 1500 years before the olimpic games were brought back 5to life in moderm time
this gave the throwers more power and accurasy so they were able to trhow greater distances
althougt they have changed over the years one thing has always remained the same the games still selebrate sports in the exiting olimpyan way
