1. It is related to the thesis statement or hypothesis
Coherent
1. Its sentences are organised clearly, following a logical order
2. Its sentences work together as a whole by being clearly connected to one another
Well-developed
1. Its topic sentence is illustrated and supported with quotes or examples
2. The topic sentence is clearly explained (no missing information)
