• this process is used to identify and gather all risks and there nature, which could impact the project. All of these risks are entered on to the risk register which includes the name of each risk, its cause(s), and the responses to each risk that can be identified at this point of time.

1. Create short list of risks

   3. Reduce probability and impacts of threats, increase probability and impact of opportunities
      1. Identify residual and secundary risks
         1. Develop contingency plan reserves

2. Create watch list of noncritical risks
