  1. Speed is a measure of how fast something is going
    1. Speed is a measure of how fast an object is going
      1. Speed=Distance/Time
        1. Time=Distance/Speed
          1. Distance=Speed*Time
          2. Instantaneous speed-speed at one particular point in time
            1. Average speed-speed overall
              1. Acceleration=final speed-initial speed/time taken
                1. momentum=mass*velocity
                  1. mass-momentum/velocity
                    1. velocity=momentum/mass
                  2. Pressure is a measure of how much force you are applying to a specific area
                    1. Pressure=Force/Area
                      1. Force=Pressure*Area
                        1. Area=Force/Pressure
                        2. Low pressure-low number of collisions of particles
                          1. High pressure-high number of collisions of particles
                          2. Moments are the turning effects of a force
                            1. moment=force*perpendicular distance from pivot
                              1. force=moment/perpendicular distance from pivot
                                1. perpendicular distance from pivot=moment/force
                                2. The Law of Moments states that an object is equilibrium when the sum of the clockwise moments are equal to the sum of the anticlockwise moments
                                  1. left-moment of weight acts anticlockwise right-moment of weight acts clockwise
                                  2. Centre of gravity/Centre of Mass-when all the weight of an object seems to act through a point
                                    1. pivot-when a turning force acts in a certain direction
