        • Helen decides to study in Boston and visits Henry three times every semester.

          • Helen is sent back from the University and is diagnosed with a very early dementia.

            • Helen's dementia gets worse and keeps forgetting things. She is taken care of in her home by Henry.

              • Helen forgets who Henry is and forgets about their relationship.

              Nota:

              • Henry-protagonist who is a student in Stamford university of California Helen- secondary character who was a woman who lived in California who later gets dementia

                • The setting of this short story is basically in California and it develops basically in a year or two.

                  • It is written in a third person perspective.

                    Nota:

                    • The story unfolds an unfaithful truth to the protagonist but even with this conflict he still loves Helen and remains by her side in sickness and even when she forgets him he will still be there to love and help her.

                      • Helen is starting to lose her memory and in the end she forgets who Henry is.

                        Nota:

                        • The story starts off happy and well but later on it takes a turn and it becomes sad, frustrating and depressing.
