  1. Seen to sustain his creation, present throughout all time - links with idea of being responsible for everything and contining to exist.
  2. TRANSCENDENT
    1. God is still separate and distinct from the physical world.

  1. God is described as the designer who laid the foundations of the earth.
2. God making Adam from dust is likened to a potter shaping clay.

    1. Likes an aspect of God's nature to humans.

3. Genesis 2 = God shown to create human life.
