The Sanctity of Life
  1. Christians believe that all human life is a precious gift from God
    1. They also believe that everyone is of equal value because God made us all in his own image
      1. Genesis: Chapter 1 Verses 26/27- 'Let us make mankind in our own image'
        1. We each have our own value, and God has already planned the rest of our lives from when we are born till be are born
      2. Life should be treated with respect as an act of worship to God as Christians believe a Human life is sacred
        1. The New Testement: Corinthians 1 Chapter 3 verses 16 and 17- Paul refers to the body being a 'temple'
          1. People should honour God though our bodies and the way how we live our lives
        2. Christians believe that we have a soul; it is a non-physical part of our body and it lives on in heaven with God when we die for eternity
