CPU purpose: to fetch, decode and execute instructions

2) Improve clock speed
3) Add more cores
The cache is a small amount of storage which is close to the CPU. It's closer than RAM. It has 3 levels. Level 1 is the smallest and level 3 is the largest. Level 1 is the closest of the three.
The control until controls the data moving throughout the computer.
The arithmetic logic unit makes all the logical decisions and does calculations
Registers carry a tiny amount of data. They are one of the fastest possible.
