Collenchyma - thicker cell walls - make up long strands in stems = support + flexibility ex: strands of collenchyma
Sclerchyma - Very thick walls -hard - only found in mature plants Two types: 1. Sclereids ( seed coat) 2. fibres (rope) ex: pear skin for protection!
