Sick It’s when you have an illness and don’t feel well.
Weekend This is a word that means the same as Saturday and Sunday
Leaflet This is a piece of paper that has information printed on it.
Twin This is when two babies are born at the same time to the same mother. (This is also means a single bed.)
Double beds This is a bed for two people.
Tyres This is the rubber part that fits around a car or bicycle wheel.
Brakes (car) This is an object used to slow or stop wheels from moving (on a car, bicycle..)
Engine This is a machine that makes vehicles move.
passenger This is a person who is travelling from one place to another in a vehicle (not driving).
Swing This is to move back and forth on something (you can also play on this in a park).
Slide To move over ice and snow smoothly/ This is also an object you go down in a park
Teapot This is what you make and serve tea in
Coach This is a person who trains athletes or teams. It’s also a bus that takes you long distances.
Wool This material comes from sheep and it's used to make clothing
Cotton This comes from a plant that we use to make clothing.
desk It´s a table for writing that you can find at school or you have in your bedroom to do your homework.
arrive It´s when you reach a place
chemist's This is the place where you can buy medicines.
midnight It's 12 p.m.
key It’s an object that you use to lock or unlock a door, chests etc.
several It´s more than a few, but not very many.
hardback It´s a book with a stiff cover.
paperback It´s a book with a paper cover
fewer Less than few, not many
a few It´s a small amount (for countable nouns).
a little It’s a small amount (for uncountable nouns)
a lot It's a big amount.
