| 2nd Step | Organize and conect concepts with visual maps |
| Visual maps | For note taking and summarizing large amounts of information into a format that helps them study, learn better, and excel on exams. |
| 3rd step | Think critically, question everything and reconstruct information |
| 4th step | The process of thinking critically leads you to answer key questions. |
| Now the 5 Ps Phase Nº1 | Preview the lecture material to familiarize with the content. |
| Phase Nº2 | Actively participate: in lectures so don't miss a class. Ask for a partner if you miss a class |
| Phase Nº3 | Process the information in a visual map. Rest if it is neccesary. |
| Phase Nº4 | Practice by solving different related exercises. Try to solve extra exercises by your own. try also difficult ones. |
| Phase Nº5 | Produce results (when you ace your exams) and ideas (by using the past steps new ideas born) of your own. |
