What does the cognitive approach focus on? Internal mental processes.
What is cognitive neuroscience used to explain? The neurological basis of mental processes.
How is behaviour studied? Through making inferences about how mental processes operate.
What is the human mind compared to? And what is this applied to? It is compared to a computer, using computer analogy and this is applied to artificial intelligence.
What affects thoughts and behaviours? Beliefs and expectation through schemas that are created.
