Was the ACW more deavisating than the ECW and if so use points and evidence to prove this. (ECONOMICALLY) People of Britain declare there king stole there money as he made higher taxes and invented ship money. However the English did get there one back from parliament after Charles was executed. The ACW was worst as after the war was over the south of america had to be rebuilt as most of it had been damaged from many battles.

Thomas Beckett Was Henry's closes friend and adviser and then became the Archbishop of Canterbury.
Tell the shortened story of Thomas Beckett. Beckett was the kings closet friend and adviser and they worked well together. One day Beckett was named archbishop of Canterbury and the king saw this as a chance to take the power of the church. As time pasted Beckett became very religious and when the king asked if he could run the church Beckett said no causing the kind to fly into a rage of anger as he had anger issues and cried who will rid me of this troublesome priest. 4 knights heard him and wanted to please there king and killed Beckett.

What is a long term cause for beckett's death? Henry became king of England in 1154 and choose beckett as his adviser.
What is a short term cause for beckett's death? When henry heard about beckett's actions he flew into a temper and cried 'who will rid me of this troublesome priest?'
