Curent
The current flowing through electrical components in a circuit is measured in amperes (amps), A, using an ammeter connected in series with the components
For components connected in series, the current is the same at any point in the circuit. This means all components in a series circuit have the same current flowing through them
Parallel circuits are when components are connected in parallel, the current splits when it reaches a junction in the circuit.
No current is lost at the junction, so the total current into the junction equals the total number out of the junction.
