• Act One (A fight and a fancy dress ball):There is a fight between the two rival families, the Montagues and Capulets. Prince tells them to stop fighting. 

• Act Two (Romeo and Juliet get married in secret): Romeo sneaks in the Capulets garden to look for Juliet. Juliet is at her window thinking out loud about how much she likes Romeo. Romeo overhears , and then decides to talk to her; They plan to get married.

• Act Three and Four ( Two real deaths and a fake one):  Juliets cousin Tybalt kills Mercutio in a fight. Romeo kills Tybalt in revenge and the Prince banishes Romeo from Verona for punishment.

• Romeo tells his friend Benvolio that he's unhappy because Rosaline doesn't love him.

• Paris ask Mr Capulet if he can marry his daughter Juliet. Mr Capulet says he will think about it. They throw a ball.

• Mercutio is invited to the ball but Romeo and Benvolio gatecrash. Romeo and Juliet meet for the first time. They talk and kiss without realising their families are enemies but they find out after.

• Romeo goes to Friar Lawrence and asks him to help. The Friar agrees to marry Romeo and Juliet.

• Romeo meets his friends, Mercutio and Benvolio, and they tease the Nurse as she gives Romeo a message from Juliet

• The Nurse tells Juliet the wedding has been organised for this afternoon and then they get married in secret.
