Techniques
1. Colaborating (Problem Solving)
  Annotations:
  - The parties discuss differences and try to incorporate multiple viewpoints in order to lead to consensus. Leads to a win-win situation.
2. Compromising (Reconciling)
  Annotations:
  - Finding solutions that bring some degree of satisfaction to both parties. This is a lose-lose situation since no parties gets everything.
3. Withdrawal (Avoidance)
  Annotations:
  - The parties retreat or postpone a decision on a problem. Withdrawal is not usually the BEST choice to resolve conflict.
4. Smoothing (Accomodating)
  Annotations:
  - Emphazises agreement rather than differences of opinion.
5. Forcing (Directing)
  Annotations:
  - Involves pushing one viewpoint at the expense of another.
