  1. THE SIMPLE PAST
    1. We use the simple past to express something that has ended in the past and now it doesn´t have relevance. Example: My mom made my lunch yesterday.
    2. THE PRESENT PERFECT
      1. We use the present perfect to express that one thing has done in the past but now it still has relevance. Example: Mike has done his homework since 3 pm.
      2. IT TAKES + PERSON
        1. We can mention a person after it takes to describe how much time that person needs to do a certain activity. Example: It takes me two hours to clean my room.
        2. THE USE OF IT TAKES
          1. We can make affirmative, negative and question sentences with "it takes". The expression describes how much time is necessary to do a certain activity. Example: It takes six hous to get to L.A.
