Communicate with parents in a through one way, two way and three way communication. in person and via technology
1. One way communication is usually in written formation. I may be more suitable when informing parents of events or student progress.
2. Two way communication can include interactive dialogue and is suitable when notify parent, discussing progress and sharing ideas/ thoughts.
3. Can involve student, parent and teacher. This is useful when discussing behaviour management or student reflections. Can further be utilised to create a range of different plans and programs to assist learning
Build a positive community identity by incorporating community culture into the classroom environment.
Collaborate beyond the school
Consult parents in the decision making process
Incorporate home school collaboration.

Invite parents to assist in the classroom
Provide students with learning activities at home that encourage parental involvement
