          2. The War of the Roses was the feud between two houses that lasted for about 38 years. The feud was between the Yorkists [White Roses] and the Lancastrians [Red Roses]. The Battle of Bosworth Field was the battle that essentially ended this War, and ensured the Red Roses' triumph. Henry Tudor led the winning side and then brought peace as King by marrying Elizabeth of York to ensure peace between the feuding houses.

                            1. The most popular sports that we still play today include; Jousting, Leaping, Sword Fighting, Fox Hunting, Dancing.
                            2. Banquets
                              1. Banquets were popular for weddings, and such occasions. The poor also held feasts.
                              2. Executions
                                1. Public executions were obviously free and very ceremonial in the day. There was a type of "carnival feel" about the place and stalls, mimes and jugglers popped up everywhere. People would even line up through the night to get a good view when it was a special execution, like that of some of Henry VIII's wives.
                                2. Theatre
                                  1. Theatre was one of the only entertainments that both the rich and poor could afford. This was because of the prices of seats and such. William Shakespeare was one of the greats of that time, and the Globe Theatre in London was one of the most popular theatres.
                                3. In Tudor England, the rich were very rich, and the poor very poor. A very drastic dynamic between the two. Entertainment and food were abundant in the Rich's lives, but extremely scarce and unaffordable for the poor.
                                  1. Clothing
                                    1. Clothing was very complicated when you are rich. It was a Nine-Part process to put on a gown and underwear.
