Governments and Politics
  1. Greener than green
    1. Government
      1. Governments will need to impose sanctions and also advise the society to become more environmentally friendly.
        1. COMMUNICATION: governments will need to inform the local people through the use of press releases, possibly held at the city hall, and in the form of one-to-many communication. They will need to use campaigns to encourage people to become more environmentally friendly, and generally ore aware of the damage being done to the environment
      2. Society
        1. People will also need to become more environmentally friendly, this could mean using more environmentaly friendly products
          1. COMMUNICATION: people will need to motivate each other in terms of going “green”. Word of mouth will be the best way and best communication to allow people to spread their ideas on how to become more environmentally friendly and follow any of the policies set by the governments. This could be done through the use of blogs and social media
        2. Companies/organisations
          1. Companies will need to alter their production methods and reconsider their image to cater the “green” image. Organisations like Greenpeace will become more active as they will be advising large companies to become more “green"
            1. COMMUNICATION: companies will need to campaign and advertise their new “green” products to motivate and encourage their potential customers/consumers to purchase the good/service
        3. Crime
          1. Government
            1. Governments need to see the advancement in crime, and begin to impose new laws to eradicate or at least reduce the crimes. They need to be more strict with consequences and make sure that people understand the consequences of “crime"
              1. COMMUNICATION: governments need to inform the local society about the crime that is taking place so people can help themselves. Police, as a form of legal authority, need to communicate to the people at making sure they feel safe in their environment
            2. Society
              1. The people in the society need to respect their community and the people in it, eventually this will reduce crime. It is really up to the people themselves if they are willing to change their attitudes.
                1. COMMUNICATION: societies need to come together in terms of the people within it, and fight crime. They could potentially do this by setting up blogs about informing people on how to be more aware and conscious about what could potentially happen to them. If everyone sticks together, crime rates will eventually begin to reduce
              2. Companies/organisations
                1. Technical companies could possibly innovate new products to help fight crime. With the increase in these products there will be an overal increase in sales and productivity.
                  1. COMMUNICATION: companies producing new technology able to fight crime will need to advertise their new products and services in the hope that it will make criminals realise that with this advancement, they are less likely to get away with the crime they have committed. This would be done through the use of mass media as it is the easiest way to inform a large group of people
              3. Education
                1. Government
                  1. Governments will need to change the educational system in order for younger people to understand the new political and governmental issues. These people will need to be informed in order for them to be able to adapt to the government and political situation.
                    1. COMMUNICATION: governments will need to inform their local communities of the information that they will be educating the people with. Press releases could be used to do this
                  2. Society
                    1. Society will need to accept this new form of education in terms of governments and politics. Some people will also need to “step up” and take on the task of teaching the rest of the society everything they’ve learned
                      1. COMMUNICATION: society will be given the chance to give their opinion about the educational system in regards to what is being taught to them and everyone within the society. People could potentially voice their concerns or opinions on blogs, and generally through the use of social media
                    2. Companies/organisations
                      1. Schools would be considered an organisation. Schools and institutes will need to be sharing and teaching the correct information if the society will be learning from it. International instates, e.g. IInternational Baccalaureate, will need to teach the students the new ways in which governments and political parties are acting.
                        1. COMMUNICATION: schools will consistently need to inform parents, for example, in regards to the material that they are teaching their children. This could be done during meetings, where parents are able to also give feedback. This would be a good form of two-way feedback
                    3. Ageing
                      1. Government
                        1. Ageing populations make work for the government very complicated. Areas with high populations of elder people and less populations of younger people (dependent populations) will need to act in a way that the area still is appealing for the younger populations. If an area is catered only for the older populations different laws must be imposed. "If the retirement age remains fixed, and the life expectancy increases, there will be relatively more people claiming pension benefits and less people working and paying income taxes."
                          1. COMMUNICATION: governments will need to make sure that their local community know exactly what kind of pensions they will be receiving and any laws that have been altered in terms of their age. This information could be done through the use of press releases held at city halls as most elderly people will not be checking social media for any changes in their pensions...
                        2. Society
                          1. Society will have to adapt to an ageing population, but the elderly populations must also adapt to a charging society. There will be an increase in the dependency ratio. I
                            1. COMMUNICATION: the elderly population will be happy with what they are receiving from the government. They will just voice their opinion within their own social circle as the elderly population generally tend to be less active in terms of using social media
                          2. Companies/organisations
                            1. Companies will benefit greatly from an elderly population. For example. various homes will have to be built in a certain way to cater for the elderly. New products will be needed to be used in these homes, for example, steps to get into the shower.
                              1. COMMUNICATION: companies will need to use various advertising techniques to show their potential customer/consumer base what their new products and services are. Their main medium of communication will be done with the use of mass media.
