Brian Walls. Brian is a red haired boy with freckles on his face. He is the only son of Rex and Rosemary. He likes to go on adventure with his sister, jeannette.
Jeannette Walls is the narrator and writer of the glass castle. she is perceive as a fearless but innocent girl. as a young girl she was severly burned by hot water when boiling an hot dog. she is the only child in her family who believed that her dad would find gold and strike it rich.
Lily Ruth Maureen is the youngest child in her family. Her name lily comes after her mother's mom, her other name ruth comes after her father's dad.Maureen looks different from brianbecause she has blonde hair and blue eyes. Being the last born maureen had it different in life for example, she had no one to play with and compare to the other family members, her cloth was brand new.
Lori Walls. she is the oldest sibling in her family. she is a book worm and wear glasses. she acts more mature and is more responsible than her parents.
Rex walls is the father. he lived in the city of Welch in west virgina. he lived in a illusionary world that he would find gold and striked rich. he was an acholic, a gambler, a know it all but he was an intelligent man and this made it easy for him to get a job. He bounced from one job to another and also bounced around from one city to another claiming fbi agents were following him when it was just people he held debts.
Rosemary walls is the mother of jeanette. She grew up in the dry dessert. She is an artist and has a teaching degree. she comes from a rich family but does not want their help. she doesnt play by the rules because she beleives it creates boundaries. she is an irresponsiible mother and acts like a kid
