          2. Vitamin K: helps blood to clot
            1. Found in green leafy vegetables, broccoli, soybeans.
            2. Vitamin D: Strengthens bones
              1. Formed when you get sunlight. You can get it from egg yolks, salmon tuna, sardines, milk, and orange juice.
              2. Vitamin E: Protects cells from damage and is important for red blood cells
                1. Found in vegetable oils, nuts, green leafy vegetables, avocado, wheat germ.
            3. Water-soluble
              1. Vitamins C, B are not stored in the body
                1. Vitamin C: Needed for bones, teeth, and blood vessels. Helps to form collagen and contributes to brain function.
                  1. Found in citrus fruits, strawberries, kiwi, peppers, tomatoes, broccoli, spinach.
                  2. Vitamin B 12: Helps make red blood cells and is important for nerve function
                    1. Found in fish, red meat, milk, cheese, eggs.

                      1. Chromium, copper, iodine, iron, selenium, zinc

                          1. Found in red meat, pork, fish, soy foods, beans.
                          2. Zinc: Important for normal growth and wound healing.
                            1. Found in red meat, seafood, dried beans, milk, whole grains.
                          3. Needed in small amounts
                          4. Calcium, phosphorus, potassium
                            1. Calcium: Help grow, stay healthy, important for the growth of bones and teeth.
                              1. Found in milk, yogurt, cheese, green leafy vegetables, broccoli, soy foods.
                              2. Phosphorus: Helps from healthy bones and teeth. Found in every cell membrane and cells need it to function.
                                1. Found in dairy foods, meat, fish
                                2. Potassium: Helps with heart, muscle, and nervous system function. Helps maintain the balance of water in the body.
                                  1. Found in broccoli, potatoes, green leafy vegetables, bananas, dried fruits, peas.
                              3. Boost the immune system, support growth and development and help cells and organs do their job.
