          1. Salt - increases water potential = more water in blood= higher pressure (hypertension) =damage to artery lining

                1. Too much in blood= harmful, linked to 50% of CHD deaths

                    1. Low density - liver--> deposit in tissue. More satd fats= more LDL= more deposits in arterioles
                      1. High density- Tissues-->liver used in metabolic processes e.g. to make bile REDUCES cholesterol in blood
