1. Upward force acting on an object due to the diff pressure acting on the top and the bottom surface

    1. buoyant force (F=PA=(P2-P1)A)
    2. weight of fluid displaced W=mg=pVg
Archimede's principle on floatation
1. bouyant force=weight of object (object float)
  1. ascend in air, the total weight of a hot air balloon is reduced and the bouyant force from air is increased
