Psychological barriers affect the way which
people use a service because for example they
might be afraid of going to the dentist. It is
mostly because of there perseption on that type
of service and what they think might happen
prevents them from wanting to use the service.
Fincancial Barriers
This is when people can not use
care services because they can not
afford which could result in there
health suffering from this. It could
be that is costs to much to get to the
service they would like to use
Geographical
barriers
Some people may not use a service
because it is not near to them so they find
it different to get there if they live in a
rural area, also it is diffuclt for people to
get about without a car and older people
would have difficulty using public
transport.
Culture and
language barriers.
If someone is reffered to a service
where they do not speak the same
language it would prevent them
from using the services also if
leaflets are provided in only one
language this can be a barrier to
using a service to because they do
not understand it.
